On Monday, 10 April at 6pm, the APLI will host a joint meeting with The Society of Actuaries in Ireland (SAI) on Enhanced Transfer Value (ETV) exercises from defined benefit pensions schemes. The event will take place in The Alexander Hotel.
During the seminar, Philip Smith (APLI) and Paul Torsney (SAI) will introduce the legal and actuarial considerations involved in an ETV exercise. They will explore these topics by working through a case study taking into account the viewpoints of companies, scheme trustees and advisors.
