APLI Essay Competition 2014

The APLI invites essays on the following topic:

“In what circumstances will the Irish Courts interfere with the decisions of pension scheme trustees and how has this compared to the situation in other jurisdictions?”

• 1st Prize: €1,000
• 2nd Prize: €500

Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners up in the following categories:

• Category 1: All students of law
• Category 2: All Trainee Solicitors and Solicitors/Barristers qualified less than 2 years.

Essays should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words. The deadline for submission is 31 January 2015. Joint submissions are welcome.
